Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi national park

On your day 1 of 3 days Mikumi and Udzungwa tour you will be picked up from your accommodation by 6:00am and you will embark on a Train to Mikumi national park, the trip will take you from 5- 6 hours. You will have your lunch on the way later arrive at the park. Check in alter head for an afternoon game drive in the park. As you do the game drive, be on the look for wild game such as lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, elands, roan and sable antelopes among others. Later head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:Transfer from mikumi to udzugwa mountain for a hike .

Early in the morning after breakfasts, you will get of your accommodation transfer to Udzungwa mountain , on your way you could stop by the Masai boma and experience the Masai people culture as you are being narrated to , how they go about their daily endeavors by the Masai maama. Later proceed to Udzungwa mountain for the adventure. Upon arrival, you will be handed to a guide/ range who will take you on a hike. The udzungwa mountains are known for having excellent hiking and trekking experience toping up with nature walks. The most popular hiking leads you to sanje water falls a perfect spot for viewing the monkeys and well as several birds species. Enjoy the amazing views having your picnic lunch there.

Day 3: Depart Mikumi and head back to Dar-es-salaam.

On you last of the 3 days mikumi and Udzungwa safari after breakfast, you will check out of your camp/ lodge and you will embark on a drive back with a brief game drive in the park as you increase on your wildlife count or simply catching site of the animals you did not come across the previous game drive. Later withdraw from the game drive and transfer back to Dar-es-salaam and arrive in the evening.
